About Beth Ritter-Perry
After graduating with an M.F.A. in graphics my heart’s desire was to travel the world and to create art, precious and semiprecious jewelry, fashion accessories and home furnishings. I spent several years in California teaching university level art while expanding my repertoire and creating collections for my first business, Caprichos Studio. Over time, I became intrigued by the artcrafts and folkways associated with the materials, embellishments and techniques that I was using in my work and equally intrigued by the fascinating and inspiring people whom I met along the way.
